SK-NIC, is the organization which manages the Slovakian ccTLD, .sk; they have been doing so since 1993, and started offering services on a fee basis in 2002.[1]

SK-NIC has signed a cooperative agreement with the Ministry of Finance of the Slovak Republic to manage the administration of the .sk ccTLD in compliance with the interests of the Slovak Government and the internet community. It suggests the formation of a commission which consists of seven members that will discuss the rules and monitor the adherence of such rules. Each party of the agreement has two representatives, and the three remaining seats belong to representatives of the Slovak internet community.[1]
