Career History
Keating has been practicing law since 1983. He was an equity partner in Carroll, Burdick & McDonough, a law firm with several offices in the US. There he managed the Taxation and IP department.[2]
He resigned from CB&M to move to Barcelona, Spain where he lives with his wife and son. There he began Renova, ltd., a law firm in Barcelona representing a select group of businesses and individuals, including his former clients in the US as well as new clients in Europe and Asia.[3]
He specializes in domain names and associated intellectual property, transactions, liability structuring, international tax planning, finance, and IP litigation management.[4]
He serves as a director of many large domain projects including Domain Invest, Euro Convergence, DomainTools, Left of the Dot, and Domain Guardians.[5]
