Nooria Ahmadi is a Software Engineer working with UL, a global independent safety science company. She is a Chevening Alumni and Master of Software Engineering from the Queen Mary University of London. With many years of work experience in the IT sector of Afghanistan, she is very keen on furthering her activities to lead the ICT sector towards positive changes. She has worked for TechWomen in TechNation, and she has worked with NITPAA for a couple of years as an active executive member and coordinating the NITPAA team as a web manager and programs/workshops organizer. She is passionately working towards technology-involved girls’ improvement, encouraging them and supporting them in Afghanistan.

ICANN and Internet Governance Participation

Nooria Ahmadi has attended ICANN 57 meeting in Hyderabad and has also attended two Schools of Internet Governance (inSIG2016 and MEACSIG2017). She is one of the organizers of AfSIG2017 the first School of Internet Governance in Afghanistan.

Nooria Ahmadi is an active executive board member of the National Information Technology Professionals Association of Afghanistan, the first certified At-Large Structure (ALS) in Afghanistan.
