Nitin Jain is the Deputy Director General of Data Services at the Department of Telecommunications within India's Ministry of Communications.[1] His responsibilities include policy and licensing development for national ISPS and mobile service providers and liaise between ICANN and national policy makers. He is also involved in national and international organizations dealing with satellite communication.

Mr. Jain participates in and follows ICANN's GAC.[2]
