NameDrive was founded in August, 2005; as a domain parking provider, it immediately began to offer industry innovations, including full IDN support in 2006. Its Park&Sell program represented the first-ever chance to buy domains based on earnings. It launched its NDX sales platform in May, 2007, which integrated live domain updates on exclusive and expired domains, discount sales, private label domains, and direct client domain sales.[1]

NameDrive stress their international approach; they park pages in 21 languages, have a homepage in 6 different languages, and their customer care professionals tend to be bilingual.[2]

NameDrive is part of KeyDrive SA, the holding company for the Key-Systems Group, NameDrive and the Moniker/ SnapNames Group.
