Lanre Ajayi is the managing director of Pinet Informatics, the first Internet Service Provider in Nigeria. He is a co-founder of Nigeria Internet Group, an Internet advocacy group and a co-founder of the Internet Service Provider Association of Nigeria (ISPAN). Lanre is a founding Vice-chair of Africa Internet Association (AfrISPA) and a founding member of AfriNIC. Lanre is the immediate past president (Chair) of the Association of Telecommunication Companies of Nigeria (ATCON). He sits on the board of the Nigeria Internet Registration Association, the .ng ccTLD registry.
