Kevin Kopas is the Co-founder and COO of ShortDot SA, the registry that owns the generic domain extension .icu among other TLDs. He believes ICANN Meetings are a great place to meet newcomers to the industry and connect with registrars and registries to see where the market is heading.

Prior Work History[edit | edit source]

Prior to his current position, Kevin was the APAC Channel Manager for PIR. In this position, he managed PIR's approach and relationships in the Asian market. Additionally, Kevin worked at Radix, managing their domains in the Americas, and previous to that, Kopas was the lead negotiator and closed the sale of KK.com for 2.4MM, one of the highest domain sales of all time. Also sold cotton.com for 300k, movingcompany.com for 200k. [1]
