GroupArgent, formerly known as Milbank Roy & Co., is a merchant bank focused on Data Economy. It assists with mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, strategic alliances, debt financing, private placements, management buyouts, financial opinions, and financial restructuring services to middle-market companies.[1]

Pierre-Georges Roy and Maurice Watkins established Milbank Roy & Co. in 2005 as a general investment banking boutique. The company became successful and expanded internationally. In 2009, Drew Meyers joined the company and changed its name to GroupArgent, utilizing the French word 'argent', which means silver or money. The company added Private Equity Investing to its business offerings as well as regional partners in New England and Latin America.[2]

Damian Voltes is the company's local partner in Latin America. He has 15 years experience with companies specializing in data economy, and is the CEO of Patagonia Ventures, an early stage venture capital firm as well as Emerging Cast, Inc. a company dedicated to producing, aggregating, and syndicating short form videos on the web, television and mobile devices. Voltes is also the founder of Digital Ventures, In Zearch, Cupones Online.com Inc, Netkiosk S.A. and Internet Marketing Group.
