Deborah Escalera is a Stakeholder Engagement Program Manager at ICANN, where she supports the Applicant Support Program (ASP) as well as the ICANN Childcare Grants Program. She's been with ICANN since 2011.
Career History[edit | edit source]
Deborah Escalera joined ICANN as a member of the gTLD Team on 31 October 2011 as the team's administrative assistant. She then moved on to become a Business Analyst for the team and in 2015 changed departments to become the Coordinator for the NextGen@ICANN program under the Development and Public Responsibility Department. Soon after she was promoted to manage the NextGen@ICANN program and did so for over 11 years.[1] In 2025 Deborah changed positions and is now supporting the Applicant Support Program (ASP) in her new role as Stakeholder Engagement Program Manager. Prior to joining ICANN, Deborah's background was in community outreach, education, and Emergency Management for the American Red Cross and the Los Angeles Air Force Base.
