Alex Tajirian is the founder and CEO of DomainMart, which he launched in 1996, thereby creating the first domain name secondary market.[1][2] DomainMart expanded its domain-name service offerings to managing and protecting online identity, appraisal and valuation, monetization, and marketing; though it now tends to focus mostly on valuation.[3]
During his seventeen years of academic and practical experience, he has taught finance, business policy, and business strategy at U.C. Berkeley's Graduate School of Business. His non-academic experience includes consulting on financial-risk monitoring for major, American financial institutions, such as: Bank of America, Wells Fargo Bank, Morgan Stanley, Financiometrics, and BARRA.
