.eac is a potential new GeoTLD that could be applied for in ICANN's new gTLD program. EAC stands for the East African Community, which is a coalition of nations and an organization that includes Burundi, Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania and Uganda. Internet experts and ministers from those nations have discussed the possibility of applying for the extension, but all news on their talks and the possible application date from 2010.[1][2][3]
