ICANN's operations are subject to periodic '''Specific Reviews''', enumerated in Article 4.6 of the bylaws.<ref name="specrvw">[https://www.icann.org/resources/reviews/specific-reviews ICANN.org - Specific (Article 4.6) Reviews]</ref> These reviews are the result of ICANN's 2009 [[Affirmation of Commitments]] (AoC) with the [[United States Department of Commerce]].
