Registrars Constituency

The Registrar Constituency is the main representative body of ICANN accredited domain name registrars, and was first recognized by the ICANN Board at its meeting on 27 May 1999 (resolution 99.31). The group participates in the ICANN policy making process and serves as the voice of registrars within the ICANN process. The Registrar Constituency is part of the Generic Names Support Organization (GNSO) (formerly DNSO) which is the main policymaking body within ICANN
